What is the Four Pillars of Destiny (Saju) Calculator?
The Four Pillars of Destiny calculator is a traditional Eastern metaphysical tool that analyzes your personality, fortune, health, relationships, and wealth based on your birth year, month, day, and hour. It derives the Four Pillars (Saju) composed of heavenly stems and earthly branches, then interprets your elemental balance using the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water).
This calculator automatically converts your input into the Four Pillars and analyzes the elemental distribution. It provides insights on the most dominant and weakest elements, including personality traits based on your Day Master (Ilgan), along with advice to enhance your life based on the Five Elements Theory (Oheng).
How does it work?
Enter your birth year, month, day, and time (based on the solar calendar). The calculator determines the heavenly stem and earthly branch for each pillar and analyzes the five-element distribution (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water). The result includes a visual element chart, your dominant and lacking elements, with lifestyle suggestions, personality traits, recommended colors, and wellness advice.
How to Use
- Enter your date and time of birth accurately. The time must be entered in 24-hour format to calculate the correct Hour Pillar.
- Select your gender for personalized interpretation. Some aspects vary by gender.
- Click the "View My Four Pillars" button to see your Saju chart, element analysis, and detailed suggestions.
- You can copy the results or share them via KakaoTalk, making it easy to share with friends and family.
Interpretation Criteria
The analysis focuses on the Day Master (Ilgan) and evaluates the balance of the five elements. If one element is lacking, the calculator provides practical suggestions to compensate for it, including career paths, health tips, and colors. If one element is dominant, it highlights how to utilize its strengths in life and work.
Data Scope & Limitations
This tool supports solar birth dates from 1950 to 2030 and uses Korean astronomical data for accurate calculations. Please provide the correct birth time when possible, as inaccurate time may affect Hour Pillar interpretation.
